HOSHEDAR TAMBOLI, M.D. F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.
Dr. Tamboli is Board certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Cardiovascular Diseases from the American Board of Internal Medicine. His Residency training was at Weiss Memorial Hospital of the University of Chicago.
Dr. Tamboli's basic Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology training was at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee University in West Virginia and was involved in Clinical Research prior to moving to Tampa in 1991. Presently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at USF.
His major interests are in Advanced Interventional Cardiology including Balloon Angioplasty, Atherectomy, Lasers, Stents, and Cardiac Catheterization, Peripheral Vascular Interventions, Nuclear Cardiology, and Clinical Research. Having pioneered peripheral interventions in Tampa in 1991, he is the only Cardiologist in Tampa to be elected as Fellow to the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
