Bay Area Cardiology Associates PA is a group practice with four offices in Florida. Our doctors are board-certified in cardiovascular diseases and provide diagnostic and customized treatment services for a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Meet Our CEO

Thomas Leach joined the Cardiovascular Center of Florida in August 2023 as the Chief Executive Officer.   

Prior to joining CVCFL, Tom served as the CEO of Brevard Physician Associates in Melbourne, Florida and Medical Center Radiology Group in Orlando, Florida. In these positions, he partnered with the physician leadership in setting the strategic direction of the practices and led the teams charged with carrying out the mission of both organizations. Tom also worked with the Health Care District of Palm Beach County as the Hospital Administrator for Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade, Florida. His efforts resulted in him being recognized as one of the 50 Rural Hospital CEOs to Know by Becker’s Hospital Review in 2015.

Tom retired from the U.S. Navy in May 2012 after serving a distinguished 23 years on Active Duty. He began his Naval career as a Hospital Corpsman and retired as a Healthcare Administrator in the Medical Service Corps. During his career, he served in various operational and support roles throughout the world, culminating in executive leadership positions on Aircraft Carriers and in Naval Hospitals and Branch Health Clinics.  

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University and holds a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Master of Science degree in Education from Old Dominion University. Tom is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
